We are looking for part-time Licensed Counselors and Licensed Residents in Counseling to provide Therapeutic Psychotherapy services. This is an exciting opportunity to provide a holistic approach to treatment for individuals in need of varying levels of care.
The ideal candidate will provide counseling services to diverse populations, including children and adults, utilizing various therapeutic techniques. The candidate must have a flexible schedule which includes evenings and Saturdays.
This is a hybrid position and may require in-person hours in either our Woodbridge or Chantilly office location. Candidate must be licensed in the State of Virginia. Interns, QHMPs, and LCSW-S will not be considered at this time. Supervision is not currently offered.
Duties:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions
- Develop treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge
- Utilize evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using ICD-10 coding
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in related field is REQUIRED
- Must hold a valid state license as a Professional Counselor or a Resident in Counseling for the State of Virginia.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in an inpatient or outpatient setting
- Proficiency in various counseling modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy and behavioral health techniques
- Strong understanding of ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must to build rapport with clients
- Ability to work effectively while maintaining empathy and professionalism

Although, preference is given to Psychotherapists paneled with Anthem, BCBS, CareFirst, Cigna, and/or TriCare; All are welcome to apply.
Compensation follows a sliding scale percentage structure based on insurance claims paid.
